Summary

This is a basic "beehive"-style CD/DVD case. Although these can be ordered online, I wanted something fairly sturdy and did not want to wait for delivery. So I designed one and printed it -- that is why we have these 3D printers, is it not?

This one can hold 30 discs. I recommend placing one "sacrificial" disc at the bottom of the stack to protect the face of the valid disc at the bottom of the stack.

The lid has a small tab that protrudes through a slot in the lid. This tab has a hole in it to allow the insertion of something to latch the case shut after it is loaded with discs. I used a "cotter-pin" made of flexible wire.

Print the spindle upright, with the base against the build-plate. Print the lid inverted, with the top against the build-plate. No supports are needed in this configuration.
