Summary

This is a simple mod to increase the size of the Kizer Towser K thumb-studs, since the blade is so big, but can be easily modified to fit any different knife.

The modification is very small so the suggestion is to print it with a resin printer, but here I used an FDM printer and it worked fine. I used a regular 0.4mm nozzle but a smaller one might have produced even better results.

My suggestion is to print it as is, and depending on your printer calibration see how is the fit. If it's too lose, simply enter the slicer and modify both X and Y dimensions to 99% or to 101% and see how it goes.

Mine ended up being a very tight fit; pressed in by hand there is no chance in them coming off. To remove the test ones I needed to use a pair of pliers.

Print it upside down, with the upper part touching the buildplate.

Remember, to get a better fit, after printing the first one go in the slicer settings and modify the X and Y dimensions in increments of 1% until the proper snug fit is achieved.
