Summary

Friend broke his flashlight and asked if I could print a piece for it. Looked around and couldn't find a part to fit. Designed this one in TinkerCad and it seems to work.

Part fits tight and is difficult to thread on straight. It has very fine threads and I can only suggest that you keep it as straight as possible and then press very firmly while screwing it on. If it starts to go crooked take it back apart and try again. It took me 6 or 7 tries to get it to thread correctly the first time...usually after that it is ok.

At any rate it's printed in PLA, I also printed it in TPU with ok results but due to the required thinness of the walls you can actually pull it apart so PLA is probably better. Will have to wait and see if it breaks as well.
