Summary
I used the remixed base that prints without supports, but on my printer this lid came out very loose and just falls out. (I think my printer tends to squish the first few layers together and makes them too thin.) I made the rails a bit thicker and also added chamfers to match to shape of the grooves in the base. On my printer it fits almost perfectly - easy to remove, but snug enough to not fall out.
I also found that the slot on the original was a bit too small and pennies would get stuck. This version makes the slot a bit bigger.
I've included the FreeCAD file, so it can be tweaked if necessary to match your printer.
