Summary
ImpluseRC Apex Landing Arm Skids for 5 Inch Frame.
Fits Standard 5 Inch Arms @ 5.5mm thickness.
Design gives approx 12mm clearence from base of arm to floor. Designed to slip on over to keep motor bolts clean. Tie wrap can be used optional but the skid should stay on without.
Two Versions. 1.55mm Wall Version is my prefered design but there is a thicker verison (2.3mm).
I would advise printing both designs with only two walls thick, 0% infil. Turn off gap infill.
The 1.55mm wall = 3.5g each & 2.3mm = 3.8g approx.
Print upright, one at a time for a clean print without supports. Trust printer to bridge gap.
If you like the design, please consider dropping a few pennies my way. I'd appreciate even the smallest amount and it will spur me on to uploading even more of my designs.... the vast majority don't make it onto sharing sites because it's time consuming.
